Gina  refers to herself as a serial entrepreneur, her entrepreneurial journey began in 2012 when she got released from the Canadian Military after 9 years of service. She knew that she had to find a new career path but she wanted to stay away from the 9 to 5. She made some research and realized that there was a gap in the beauty industry when it comes to makeup. She noticed that There was a lack of products on the market that caters to women of color.
She then created NAGI COSMETICS. Her makeup line is currently sold at over 33 pharmacies Jean Coutu and Uniprix around Quebec Ontario and New Brunswick.
She believes that representation matters and she wanted black women to have a brand that they could identify with. In 2017 she made an appearance in the national TV show Dragons Den. In 2019 she was selected as one of 35 Canadian young entrepreneurs to represent Canada on the international scene in the G20 YEA in Japan.
She has been giving back to the community by participating  in numerous discussion panels and delivering conferences in cegeps and universities to help inspire young adults.
